I created BW4W in August 2010 because I am passionate about helping other women succeed in a business they create themselves. If a woman and a man each start a new business today, the man is five times more likely than the woman to still be in business one year from now. My mission with BW4W is to help change that statistic.

I meet women every day who are passionate about the product they create, or a service they provide, but don't have the tools or skills to run a successful business. Some are doing "okay," but struggling, and need a little help to to figure out what needs fixed. Others are successful, and just want to take their business to the next level, or are just looking for support and companionship of other women who are also mapping their own path to success. For over a year, I've been hosting free networking events and educational workshops to give women the support and resources they need to grow and prosper in business. If they meet one woman at a networking event who turns into a "power partner" for them, or learn one thing at a workshop that helps them put more money in the bank, I know I'm on the right track.
